Well, this shoot was quite tough for Xiaoyu. Our client was curious on how a blackout and subsequent wakeup look like under extraordinary circumstances: when Xiaoyu is standing, has no air in her lungs, and cannot breathe at all. X-cross and film dressing have been chosen for this purpose. Before we actually went for the “research”, we bound Xiaoyu to a chair and covered her nose and mouth with film dressing under different durations, from short to long, three times in total, in order to warm her up. Next we stood her to the X-cross and covered her airway with film dressing for three times again, asking her to keep full lungs, half lungs, and empty lungs of air, respectively, in order to adapt her body and mentality gradually to the extreme conditions of no air and no breathing. Finally she was ready for the last round. She knew that she would blackout for the first time by film dressing covering her nose and mouth, and she knew that that might be very painful. The fact is, that was even more painful than what she thought. After she breathed out air in her lungs and got her airway covered, she held her breath actively for more than a minute. There were a few contractions but in general she was still under control. However, once she can’t suppress the urge to breathe, things started to go wild. She can’t help sucking in void harder and harder, and the negative pressure made her lungs burning and a drumming in her ears. She gradually lost control to her limbs and started dancing on the X-cross. She faded away, hanging powerlessly at her wrists. When we brought her back, she was quite exciting and happy. Xiaoyu’s comment about this experience was: “I am in the water, yet I am not in the water…” Next is underwater breathholding. Xiaoyu’s legs are held down by Xiaomeng at the edge of the pool, while her body lies submerged. If Xiaoyu needs to breathe, she must contract her abdomen and rise to bring her head above water. If she wishes to rest and relax by lying flat, she must hold her breath underwater. This dilemma forces her to choose between physical exertion and the need for air. However, Xiaoyu’s breathholding ability and core strength are both exceptionally powerful, making this challenge seem relatively easy for her. With each rise, even when accompanied by gasps for air, a glint of triumph from overcoming the challenge seems to sparkle in her eyes. Finally, we opted for a more aggressive approach: a collar and chain. Xiaomeng pulls the chain, forcibly submerging Xiaoyu and compelling her to hold her breath for extended periods. Being unable to decide for herself when she can surface to breathe undoubtedly brings an unprecedented level of tension and immense psychological pressure to Xiaoyu. She must fully trust Xiaomeng on the other end of the chain, surrendering complete control over her right to breathe. However, Xiaomeng is quite gentle; after a few rounds, I took over from Xiaomeng. Under my control, even when Xiaoyu was allowed to surface, she was given only a single breath, or even half a breath, barely enough for adequate ventilation. Under such high-intensity, extreme pressure, Xiaoyu ultimately couldn’t sustain it, struggling, choking on water, and coughing violently—a clear testament to her reaching her limit.
     Xiaomeng in Latex Rebreathing
    36 minutes    		  Xiaomeng in Latex Rebreathing - Once again, the double-ponytail Xiaomeng was wearing her latex catsuit. Arms and legs folded and fixed by cling film, Xiaomeng became a cute latex puppy. At the beginning she was wearing a ring gag in her mouth. However, I suddenly realized that a mask is indispensable for the recent recurrence COVID cases, therefore I replaced the ring gag with a mouth mask. The mask is made of latex, which means its effect of isolation is extremely good. As for the capability of breathing… that’s not under consideration… Next, her fists got wrapped by cling film. Now it is impossible for Xiaomeng to remove any items applied on her by herself anymore. I put a latex hood with only two small holes at her nostrils on her head, and then put a gas mask on top of that. A one litter open-end rebreather bag and a bubble bottle were connected to the gas mask sequentially. Although these two items did not completely close the air path, Xiaomeng soon became exhausted and could not last any longer. I learned later that the small holes on the latex hood were shifted away from her nostrils under the pressure of the gas mask, thus the breathing resistance suddenly became so high that she could not stay calm anymore. Finally, I carefully adjusted the position of the holes, connected her gas mask to the rebreather bag, and blocked the open end of the bag. Xiaomeng entered a closed rebreathing situation. The electrical tape is much stickier and more elastic than the bondage tape that we used in the past, therefore the wrap can be much tighter. In order not to hurt her skin and hair, cling film was used as an underlayer. I disabled Xiaomeng’s hands by wrapping her fists, so that she cannot remove any tape on her by herself. Then I started working on her head. First her neck, chin, cheeks and mouth were covered, making her only be able to moan without a word. Then I covered her nostrils and opened two small holes just before she ran out of air. Next was her eyes and upper head. Finally her whole head was covered by the electrical tape with only two small holes for breathing. After that I was on full control. Playing with a small piece of tape I can easily block or unblock her air supply. This session was really intense. The tight wrap near her neck already restricted her breath, and because she cannot see, she has no idea when I was about to block her air. It is also fun for me to stick the piece of tape loosely on her nose, watching that she sucked the tape closer and closer, until she made it completely airtight by herself. At last she collapsed from the chair to the ground and cried. “It was so tight,” Xiaomeng said afterwards, “I cannot breathe at all. I was scared to death…”

I told them that I would only open the valve for one of them to allow her to breathe, while the other would have to hold her breath. If the one holding her breath wanted to breathe, she would need the one who was breathing to nod in agreement. Then, I would close the latter’s valve and open the former’s, switching their roles. Do you think they cooperated well, or would they try to sabotage each other? In the end, Yaoyao got tired and didn’t want to move anymore, so we wrapped her up as a mummy using cling film to keep her immobile. Unsurprisingly, Xiaoyu used a shower cap to impose strict breath control on Yaoyao and then threw her into a vacuum bag. Yaoyao already has a phobia of vacuum bags, but this time we didn’t vacuum it out, we simply sealed her inside and manually squeezed some of the air out.
